People Change and Forget to Tell Each Other

A friend of mine is going off to the wartoday, so it would only make sense for me to post the poem I wrote about him now:


When we first started talking it was tons of fun.
Smiles and laughter all around.
You liked my flaws
Along with many other things
I didn't even like about myself.
You're always trying to help me overcome my fears
Or things I'm just too shy to do.
All of that and tons more would be an easy task for you to accomplish,
If you weren't trying to do it through a computer.
You can try to work your magic when you get back.

Hoping That The New Year Brings Me the Ridiculously Unattainable Things That 2010 Did Not

This past year was filled with tons of fun, lies, knowledge, adventure, and many new faces. I got older (typical), cried many tears, learned new things, smiled plenty, and laughed loads. Most of my year felt like that movie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel named (500) Days of Summer or maybe even a "summer romance" (just in the wrong season).

I can only hope that this year will be just as good as the year prior to it if not better.

Try to finish 3 of the things on my "Life Goals"
Keep up more with my religion (If you have to ask my religion ask me or you'll never know)
Learn more British slang and use it (just for kicks)
